Fronted by an infrastructure expert, Dan McNichol, and his rusty 1949 Hudson—a metaphor for the age and condition of America's systems—the grassroots tour is making several stops at CASE dealerships across the country to bring together politicians, contractors and decision makers who can spur change at the local level. DireStates.com served as the central hub for the tour. Built with a responsive design that is user/scrolling friendly across mobile and tablet platforms, the website shared the tour's mission, tour dates, news, call-to-action items, downloadable media kit and a social aggregator that gave a snapshot of online chatter.
