RedPrairie, a leader in software and support solutions for retailers, recently developed a complete retail platform, the Store Forecast system, to align inventory, transportation and employees. RedPrairie asked us to help them generate meetings with their top 200 prospects at NRF, a key industry trade show.
For the top 200, we developed a dimensional mailer containing a framed mosaic portrait of each prospect. We sent these in FedEx boxes to bypass gatekeepers, and also so sales people would know when they’d arrived, so they could follow up in a timely manner. Our efforts received a 93% response, and RedPrairie’s sales force reported that the prospects were delighted with their portraits. All this despite the campaign taking place during the Christmas shopping rush—the busiest time of year for retailers.
