To educate a narrowly targeted audience—high-net-worth investors and less experienced financial advisors—about the unique portfolio-balancing benefits of closed-end funds (CEFs) offered by Nuveen Investments, Slack and Company researched and selected mailing lists and developed a multimedia campaign. Print, online ads, email and paid search all drove targets to a landing page where they could sign up to receive this dimensional mailer, Finding the Right Balance: The Nuveen CEF Investment Kit.

Duotone photography coupled with Zen-like balanced-rock imagery lent a sophisticated feel for the sophisticated audience. Finding the Right Balance was very well received; the compiled conversion rate for the entire campaign reached 13%!
