Creativity Shines as Slack and Company Wins Big at Tower Awards Ceremony

CHICAGO, May 11, 2011 – Slack and Company, the country’s premier business-to-business integrated marketing communications agency, made a huge impression with clients and competitors, as the agency took home a remarkable 12 awards at this year’s annual Tower Awards ceremony. Slack and Company was recognized in no less than eight categories, including Direct Mail, Print Advertising and Social Media/New Media.

"It’s always exciting for our work to be recognized by our industry peers," said Ron Klingensmith, Chief Creative Officer, Slack and Company. "However, first and foremost, it’s about making sure the work achieves and hopefully exceeds the client objectives in generating profitable demand for their products and services. If it doesn’t do that, we’ve failed. With the business-to-business marketing and advertising industry as competitive as it is, to be acknowledged for truly unique and creative work means a great deal to us."

The Business Marketing Association’s (BMA) annual Tower Awards showcase the best of the best in business marketing and advertising. The judging panel is made up of industry peers, as well as corporate marketing professionals. With multiple creative categories, and receiving thousands of entries, the BMA selection committee works to identify and select those entries that go beyond traditional advertising/marketing campaigns. In addition to winning the Print Advertising and Social Media categories, Slack and Company also won the following:
