Heading the Slack and Company Asia office in Hong Kong, Stefan develops and leads marketing and advertising strategy, planning and execution for inbound international companies, as well as for outbound Chinese and Hong Kong companies going global.
As a multi-awarded writer and strategist, Stefan has been involved in b-to-b marketing and advertising since 1983. He has worked with some 200 clients, assisting many of them in their international endeavors.
Prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 2002, Stefan was a copywriter, creative director and managing director at agencies including Anderson & Lembke, Lowe/Brindfors, RonnbergMcCann, Lowe/Lintas and SandbergTrygg in Sweden.
In Hong Kong he founded his own b-to-b advertising agency assisting industrial, high-tech, telecom and services companies including Nolato, Hoganas, Scania, Finnair, Singapore Post, SingTel and Chinese telecom vendor ZTE Corporation to reach out and develop business in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and globally. The merger with Slack and Company gives existing and new Slack and Company clients a solid foothold in the region and provides a natural expansion route to the U.S. market for local clients.
Stefan has studied technology, history of ideas and science, and physics at University of Gothenburg; journalism at University of Wisconsin; and copywriting and marketing at IHM (Institute of Higher Marketing) in Sweden.
