Marc Blumer 
Senior Marketing Strategist, Direct
As senior marketing strategist at Slack and Company, Marc Blumer performs a variety of functions for our clients.
As leader of the agency’s direct response practice, Marc directs our team in forecasting multichannel campaign performance, researching and managing list rentals and data augmentation, planning offer and incentive strategies, designing lead-nurture streams and analyzing and reporting results. Furthermore, Marc serves a strategic planner plotting tactical marketing communications strategy and developing positioning and messaging. Marc’s range of abilities is impressive, to say the least.
Marc rose from copywriter to creative director to his current position within six years of joining Slack and Company. He spent most of the 1990s as a client-side marketing manager, during which time he developed expertise in planning, development and leveraging of thought-leadership content to generate and nurture qualified leads to conversion. Marc has published and spoken on the topic through such forums as DM News and Chicago’s DM Days.

Marc has an M.S. in direct and interactive marketing from Mercy College and served on the school’s adjunct faculty for two years.
