In 2012, GE introduced the idea of the "Industrial Internet," a vision for a world that connects machines, people and data to eliminate waste, avoid unplanned downtime and take operational efficiency to a new level. With this new category gaining momentum, GE needed a way to differentiate its own software offerings from competitors, as well as demonstrate how GE uniquely combines hardware, software and analytics expertise. To achieve this objective, we developed the name "Predictivity" for their family of solutions, as well as developed messages both for Predictivity overall and for individual industries. GE has now launched dozens of solutions under the Predictivity banner, and we are continuing to use a variety of tactics to tell a compelling story for new solutions as they are unveiled.
