Acsis Inc. had been doing custom serialization software for years, but when they wanted to establish themselves as the solution for “enterprise serialization,” they needed to build a story from the ground up.
Through depth interviews, we learned that easy-to-access, real-time information was of critical value to their key target audience of pharmaceutical companies, which were facing a regulation deadline to serialize, track and trace every individual package.
This insight inspired us to develop a brand positioning which we labeled “Know in the Moment.” The new positioning, which also served as a tagline, defined how Acsis helps its customers feel in control of their situation through the ability to see and manage products throughout the entire supply chain. And Acsis would live it by being tenacious, friendly, genuine, energetic, and trend-setting.
We also created a visual identity to support it beginning with a logo that contains a unique pattern graphic of dots at intersecting lines to showcase exact points in the process where customers can “Know in the Moment.”
The “Moment Pattern,” meant to represent the nature of product distribution, became a key graphic element in the Acsis rest of the visual identity elements as well as a new web and booth presence.
Acsis also wanted to help educate/remind pharmaceutical companies about the upcoming California e-pedigree regulations, so we developed an infographic for use on their Web site, at trade shows and as an offer for e-mail communications.
Acsis is proud of their new story, look and materials. And while the selling cycle in the software business can be years, our work has helped them open doors that they previously were unable to penetrate and has contributed to important wins.
